Windows Phone aims for the first BlackBerry over - Macworld

News Windows Phone beats BlackBerry for third place in the global smartphone market, says IDC meter market. The two mobile platforms remain small: less than 75 percent of all shipped smartphones running Android

In the first quarter of 2013 there are 7 million Windows Phones shipped worldwide. This is the operating system of Microsoft’s ailing BlackBerry (6.3 million) over. That says market researcher IDC in a new report on the global smartphone market.
