As of 29 May, the BlackBerry Q10 in Netherlands for sale. The new smartphone with ‘classic’ qwerty keyboard was already in North America and some other countries available.
The Q10 is the second model of BlackBerry (formerly Research In Motion) that runs on the new BlackBerry 10 operating system. The Canadian manufacturer has all hopes on this software platform to vijzelen.Het are heavily affected market share again, however, number of available apps is so far much smaller than competitors like Android and iOS. Q10 is built around a dual-core processor with a clock speed of 1.5 GHz and has a relatively small 3.1 inch touch screen with 720 by 720 pixels. The device has camera of 8 megapixel (rear) and 2MP (front), a memory of 2 GB and 16 GB storage. The latter is expandable up to 32 GB through a microSD card.
Other features include a removable battery 2100 mAH, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, NFC, GPS and compatibility with 4G LTE networks in the bands 3, 7, 8 and 20. The Q10 weighs 139 gram.Uitgebreide specifications on the UK website of BlackBerry.
Sister Model Z10 has a larger touchscreen

BlackBerry brought all the Z10 on the market. This model only has a large touchscreen of 4.2 inches and no physical keyboard.
Telecom companies KPN, T-Mobile and Vodafone take the Q10 in their catalog on. In addition, the device will be available at various retailers. Webshop Smartphoneshop.nl, part of Cool Blue, mentions a price of 649 euros without subscription to both the black and white version. That is 60 euros more expensive than the Z10.
