The telephone manufacturer focuses the affordable alternative to the BlackBerry 10 mainly in emerging markets, including some European countries. It is still unknown whether the phone will be available also in the Netherlands is still unknown about the price. Earlier this month there were already rumors about the cheaper unit.

The Q5 has a 3.1 inch touch screen and a classic BlackBerry keyboard. The phone will be available in red, white, black and pink. Further specifications of the device are still missing. What is known is that users can make use of various presented earlier services BlackBerry as Story Maker and free messaging BMM.
